Abstract
- Receptor 1 showed intense fluorescence enhancement in the presence of Zn2+ in 100% aqueous solution.
- Receptor 1 could distinguish Zn2+ from Cd2+ selectively and sense Zn2+ in the cells.
- Detection limit of 1 towards Zn2+ is nM range.
- Receptor1 could detect fluoride through the fluorescence enhancement.
