Abstract
- Novel azide-selective probe based on dichlorofluorescein chloroacetate was developed.
- Probe showed chromogenic and fluorogenic signaling with a detection limit of 0.4 μM.
- The signaling results from the selective hydrolysis of the chloroacetate moiety by azide ions.
- Interference from sulfide ions was suppressed by using Hg(II)-TPEN complex as a masking agent.
