Abstract
Sol-gel nanoporous silica has been identified as a novel substrate for the immobilization of biomolecules and fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) has been proved to be a method for the detection of human cardiac troponin I, an ideal cardiac marker for myocardial infarction and acute coronary syndrome.
