Abstract
⺠Analysis of structure of singularities in the problem of an elastic quarter-plane. ⺠Deformation field is smooth near vertex and is actually bounded at the vertex. ⺠Work is based on the 'harmonic' material model, in the large extension regime. ⺠Explicit results regarding the local structure of the stress field are obtained. ⺠Explicit expressions for Cauchy and Piola stresses obtained in vicinity of vertex.
