Abstract
In this paper we provide an upper bound on the maximum number of limit cycles for a class of generalized polynomial Liénard differential systems xÌ=y, yÌ=âfn(x)yâgm(x) with fn and gm real polynomials of degree n and m respectively, using the fourth order averaging method.
