Abstract
⺠We introduce a weighted gradient network on the unweighted complex networks.⺠The edge weight is defined as the power-law function of the scalar difference between the two connected nodes.⺠The relations between the jamming factor J and the power exponent are studied.⺠For α>αc, J increases with increasing average connectivity, and for α<αc, the reverse occurs.⺠The jamming factor of the random and scale-free networks is compared.
