Abstract
⺠Since Fukushima, Japan's reactor capacity has dropped from almost 50 GW to zero. ⺠Emergency demand-reduction reduced TEPCO's 2011 summer peak by 18% compared to 2010. ⺠Restricting generation to non-nuclear sources affected Asian LNG and oil supplies. ⺠Nuclear technology will continue to play a role for Japanese electricity and exports.
