Abstract
⺠Rural household energy use and CO2 emissions in China are investigated via a field survey. ⺠Energy use and CO2 emissions are related to separate practices within households. ⺠Improvements in CO2 emission reduction are possible at demand side and supply side. ⺠Income and education are proven to be positively correlated with household emissions.
