Abstract
⺠This paper analyzes the productive efficiency of an advanced biodiesel plant using DEA. ⺠We examine the optimal production activities of biodiesel from waste cooking oil. ⺠Considering the production frontier, the unit cost of biodiesel could be reduced by 1195 yen. ⺠The efficiency improvement contributes to decreasing the cost ratio of the biodiesel by 1%.
