Abstract
⺠We model energy efficiency and fuel switching impact on non-ferrous metals industry. ⺠End-use energy efficiency improvement is a no-regret measure. ⺠Fuel switching decreases CO2 emissions but increases costs. ⺠Efficient electric end-use devices offer the highest CO2 emissions reductions. ⺠CO2 emissions reductions of low-CO2 electricity use depend on hydropower availability.
