Abstract
This paper is based on the inaugural talk on the occasion of the 25th anniversary if Eurosensors. It chronicles the development and expansion of the Eurosensors conference series. It tries to give a comprehensive collection of several remarkable aspects of the history of the Eurosensors conferences. How they started, what made them different and most of all, what makes them go.
