Abstract
⺠Wind supply curves with high spatial resolution for whole Austria are derived. ⺠Current feed-in tariff higher than necessary to attain targets. ⺠Previous feed-in tariffs were too low to achieve targets. ⺠Current support scheme leads to high social welfare losses. ⺠Policy makers face high information asymmetry when setting feed-in tariffs.
