Abstract
⺠This paper explores the adoption of energy poverty policies within the EU and Bulgaria. ⺠We establish the existence of a range of nascent efforts to address the issue at EU level. ⺠Bulgaria has been good at implementing EU energy poverty relevant directives. ⺠However, policy makers speak a different language when it comes to direct energy poverty action.
