Abstract
⺠Warm Front improvements are linked to significant material and psychosocial benefits. ⺠The alleviation of fuel poverty and the reduction of stress emerge as the likely route to health. ⺠The scope for improving health is greater than implied by the UK Government's Fuel Poverty Strategy. ⺠A dual but integrated approach to alleviating cold living conditions and fuel poverty is required.
