Abstract
⺠Currently no EPR principles have been applied to the wind energy sector. ⺠EPR principles have been applied through legislation such as ELV and WEEE. ⺠Challenges involved in end-of-life wind turbines arise from the CF composite blades. ⺠Composites are at risk of being banned from landfill through future EU policy. ⺠Properties and processability of RCF require further research before future use.
