Abstract
⺠We estimate a breakeven price of $88.02/t for miscanthus production in Ontario. ⺠Sensitivity analysis indicates a range of breakeven prices of $77.79/t-$105.08/t. ⺠We convert these prices to a cost/GJ of energy for the greenhouse industry. ⺠We find miscanthus to be competitive with costs of non-renewable energy sources.
