Abstract
⺠A demand-driven approach was used to build energy scenarios for the Greek interconnected system. ⺠Each Scenario consists of a possible future and a strategy. ⺠High RES penetration will decrease CO2 emissions but it will also increase capital cost. ⺠Carbon intensity is reduced in all the scenarios.
