Abstract
⺠Both technologies could provide low-carbon base load power. ⺠Both technologies require new networks, for either CO2 or power transmission. ⺠CSP is closer to being a viable technology ready for pervasive diffusion. ⺠The costs associated with market saturation would be lower for CSP. ⺠The regulatory changes required for CSP diffusion are somewhat greater than for CCS.
