Abstract
⺠We determined the potential for cost-effective efficiency for residential appliances. ⺠We cover 6 appliance groups using cost of conserved energy as a metric for cost-effectiveness. ⺠Data are source from the DOE's Appliance and Commercial Equipment Standards Program. ⺠Between 15% and 20% additional cost-effective efficiency improvement is possible.
