Abstract
⺠Scenarios for solar thermal applications are presented. ⺠Payback is typically below 4 years for small scale water heating systems. ⺠Large-scale water heating systems also present high feasibility. ⺠The Brazilian semi-arid region is the best sites for CSP and chimney tower plants.
