Abstract
⺠Southeastern and Eastern European countries are approaching the European stockholding model. ⺠Croatia and Macedonia demonstrate the highest degree of convergence. ⺠Moldova displays the greatest distance to the European model. ⺠Variation in convergence is determined by legal obligation, membership aspiration, investment and dependence on oil.
