Abstract
⺠V2G regulation cycle life of EREV batteries must be >50,000 cycles to be profitable. ⺠Present knowledge and test data about the impact of V2G cycles on battery life are limited. ⺠Replacement of batteries and energy throughput are major factors in the cost-benefit analysis. ⺠V2G fleet is not viable with present data but can be viable with some technical advancement.
