Abstract
⺠Wrong waste land estimates for jatropha has failed Biodiesel Mission. ⺠No redressal of technological problems with biodiesel usage. ⺠Present estimated costing of jatropha biodiesel is Rs. 46.45 per liter. ⺠Promotion of any biofuel needs central government assistance to the states. ⺠Targets under National Biofuel Policy are also unlikely to be met.
