Abstract
An acridone molecule with appropriate substituents at C-4 and N-1 positions has been identified to respond at μM concentration as ON and OFF state of fluorescence depending upon the sequence of addition of Cu2+ and F− ions to the solution of the compound and therefore could be used as security key pad.
