Abstract
Ni/Al layered double hydroxide nanosheet film has been successfully fabricated on a Ti substrate by a single coprecipitation method. After the hydrothermal process, the Ti foil modified with Ni/Al layered double hydroxide nanosheet film can be directly used as the working electrode of a nonenzymatic glucose sensor. Low detection limit of 5 μM with an appropriate linear range up to 10.0 mM (R = 0.99972) can be obtained and the sensitivity is 24.45 μAm M−1 cm−2. The good analytical performance, low cost and one-step preparation method make this electrode material promising for the development of a nonenzymatic glucose sensor.
