- A count model for the determinants of hotel advance booking is proposed.
- Prices have a decreasing effect that is less than proportional.
- Long stays at holiday homes increase the days of advanced booking.
- Booking in July and August, as well as large party size, imply longer anticipation.
- Reservations through DMO channels are related to longer advanced booking.
