Abstract
⺠Uses popular movies to explore the futures of policing and crime. ⺠Investigates trends and emerging issues such as climate change, artificial intelligence, and global demographic shifts-ageing and the youth quake-on policing futures. ⺠Argues that changes in policing strategy need to occur in the context of changing policing narratives. ⺠Presents a case study of the Pearls in Policing programme as an example of the successful use of foresight.
