Abstract
The collections of archaeological ivory objects, especially those from the Upper Palaeolithic sites of Central and Eastern Europe, contain not only numerous body ornaments and well-known mobiliary art pieces, but also a lot of weapons and various domestic tools, which are more or less elaborated. Amongst this last category, there are some massive and cylindrical pieces with a low technical investment. The present note consists in a preliminary listing and typo-technological description of this type of heavy ivory tools.
