Abstract
The study has revealed that the duality in the morphology and the design of Swiderian points most likely corresponds to a phenomenon, which is frequently observed in the construction of projectiles in traditional hunting societies and which derives from the so called “mass/velocity relationship”. This phenomenon is here referred to as “flexible projectile weapon systems”.
