Abstract
Single-stranded DNA is detected with the quartz crystal device bearing complementary DNA on its surface, based on a decrease in its oscillation frequency due to increased mass resulting from DNA hybridization. This method can be applied to determination of microorganisms by capturing a specified fragment from 16S rDNA of them as a target.
