Abstract
This review provides an analysis of one-electrode semiconductor gas sensor characteristics. Typical designs and fabrication of one-electrode semiconductor gas sensors are discussed, along with their operation and practical application. Advantages and disadvantages of one-electrode semiconductor gas sensors in comparison with pellistors and other solid state gas sensors are presented. Approaches for optimization of operation parameters are also delineated.
