Abstract
The paper presents the results of investigation on characteristics of an amperometric sulphur dioxide sensor equipped with Nafion® membrane and containing various amounts of dimethylsulphoxide within internal electrolyte. Sensitivity, response time to SO2 concentration change, and influence of measured gas flow rate have been investigated and compared. The sensor utilizes a three-electrode system, where working and counter electrodes have been vacuum sublimation deposited on the membrane surface.
