Abstract
Ultramicro powders of spinel-type solid solution Cd1−xMgxGa2O4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.50) were prepared by sol–gel method. The preparation conditions, phase constituents, conductivity and gas-sensing properties were investigated. The results demonstrate that Cd0.9Mg0.1Ga2O4 is a n-type semiconducting material and it has high response and good selectivity to C2H5OH.
