Abstract
⺠The study was applied to improve polyolefins recovery in MDS-based recycling plants. ⺠Post-consumer polyolefins classification by HyperSpectral Imaging (HSI) was carried out. ⺠Polyethylene and polypropylene from complex waste were correctly identified/classified. ⺠Cut density between polyethylene and polypropylene was defined by HSI based approach. ⺠HSI is a powerful non-destructive technique to extract features from sample surface.
