Abstract
The process of magnetization reversal in Co-rich nearly zero magnetostrictive amorphous wire having circumferential magnetic anisotropy in the outer shell has been studied. The investigations have been performed using magneto-optical Kerr effect microscope. The main regularities of the domain structure transformation have been elucidated. The nucleation and the movement of the domain wall and magnetic vortexes are the basic components of the magnetization reversal determined the value of the giant magneto-impedance effect in these wires.
