Abstract
The anti-fogging, low density polyethylene (LDPE) grafted with trifluoroacetic acid allyl ester (TFAA) was prepared by γ-irradiated radical reaction. The grafting of TFAA onto LDPE was performed by γ-ray irradiation. The effects of grafting were studied with different kinds of trifluoroacetic acid allyl ester, a dosage of γ-ray irradiation. The modified polymer film has been characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
