Abstract
Double emulsion (W/O/W) formation in cow-flow microfluidic device is studied by making use of experiment and numerical simulation. The flow regimes of dripping, narrowing jetting, widening jetting and tubular flow are obtained. The influence of three-phase flow rate on the formation mode, size of the emulsion droplets and frequency is investigated.
