Abstract
Ultrastable MSAMS-2 has been synthesized by the use of SBA-15 as “hard template” via twice re-crystallization both within the diluted solution of aluminosilicates sol–gel and glycerol. The ultrastable hydrothermal stability of MSAMS-2 might be ascribed to synergistic effect of the thicker wall, the higher condensation of silanol groups, the insertion of non-framework Al atoms and the formation of zeolites-like five-membered ring subunits within mesoporous framework.
