Abstract
⺠We describe the development of a low-cost immunodiagnostic test reader. ⺠Novel device constructed from low-cost materials and off-the-shelf components. ⺠Optically determines relevant biomarker concentrations. ⺠Colorimetry and fluorescence were used as detection methods. ⺠A webcam captured light being reflected or emitted from a protein microarray slide.
