Abstract
324Ni/Al2O3 nanocatalysts were prepared by impregnation, sol-gel and sol-gel plasma methods. Synthesized samples were tested during Combined CO2-Reforming/Partial Oxidation of Methane (CRPOM) to syngas. For sol-gel based ones amorphous behaviour intensified and concentration of prone planes to coke deposition decreases especially for plasma treated one NA (SGP). Uniform particle size distribution, tiny particles, promoted Ni dispersion, smallest Ni particle size (≈10 nm) and higher surface area was reported for NA (SGP). The optimum operating condition was found at: CH4/CO2 = 1 and GHSV = 24 l/gcat. h and the composition of entrance feed was CH4/CO2/O2 = 1/1/0.08. Evaluation of used samples indicated that more uniform dispersion, lowest coke deposition was obtained for NA (SGP). Based on the excellent characterization, NA (SGP) exhibited the better catalytic activity and stability during 2880 min. Therefore, NA (SGP) due to the superior characterization and enhanced catalytic performance, introduces as a promising nanocatalyst for CRPOM.
