Abstract
Substitution of Ni by Ti in LaNiO3 perovskite increased both Ni 2p3/2 and Ti 2p3/2 binding energies and the corresponding O 1s binding energy showed a parabola where binding energy is maximum at Ni/Ti ratio = 1. The stability of this system is clearly evidenced by the stable activity and sustained release of active sites supported by TPR profiles.124
