Abstract
Fischer-Tropsch (FT) synthesis was carried out in a microchannel reactor under a wide range of operating conditions using iron-based catalyst for process intensification. The performance of microchannel reactor was evaluated both in mass transfer limitation and conversion and selectivity responding to the variation of process parameters. The effects of process parameters upon product selectivity were extensively investigated. A kinetic model using Eley-Rideal-type mechanism was found to be the most statistical and physical relevance.120
