Abstract
The SHC0.02 catalyst showing the best activity than others might probably result from the high surface area of supports and the corresponding small Ni size as shown in Fig. 11b. Consequently, the large specific surface area of the prepared alumina could provide more “sites” for the loading of NiO and hence the small Ni grains could be got easily. And the size of 5.5 nm would possibly be easy to provide more active sites and to prevent the sintering of active component and finally improve the reforming performance of catalysts.191
