Abstract
The formation mechanism of ZMM-n, composite mesoporous aluminosilicate materials, which are obtained by use of vapor phase transport of structure-directing agent for zeolites, is clarified. Filling the mesopores by carbon is essential to preserve the mesoporous structure of the source, and addition of aluminum on mesoporous silica critically determines the formation rate and stability of zeolitic building units on the surface of mesopores.
