Abstract
Ni@NiO/TiO2 was prepared by quick ion-impregnation impregnation method and exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution from water splitting since the Ni@NiO core/shell structure could promote the photogenerated electrons transfer from TiO2 conduction band to Ni@NiO clusters. The dynamic balance between Ni oxidation and NiO reduction processes ensured the water reduction reaction proceeding continuously and stability.93
