Abstract
The CeO2/CuO-A catalyst consists of the small particle CeO2 and bulk CuO. The particle size of CuO is in the range from 12Â nm to 25Â nm. The CeO2 particles are 5Â nm or so, which are dispersed on the outer surface of bulk CuO. A small amount of CeO2 exists in the form of individual particle, and most of CeO2 particles pile into the small clusters. It is obvious that the good dispersion of CeO2 is favorable for the interaction between CeO2 and CuO.
