Abstract
⺠Seven flow-pattern scenarios are considered for gas flow in membrane separators. ⺠Relationship between H2 production rate and membrane permeation capacity is derived. ⺠The maximum hydrogen potential production rates are obtained for all scenarios. ⺠A design procedure is recommended for membrane separators. ⺠Economical permeation capacity and the H2 production rate are proposed and defined.
