Abstract
► γ-AlH3 was prepared by organometallic synthesis method. ► Dehydriding properties of γ-AlH3 were investigated systematically. ► Ball milling greatly improves the dehydriding behavior of γ-AlH3. ► The dehydriding mechanism was discussed.
