Abstract
⺠Addition of 4% TiO2 to 12% and 16% Ni infiltrated YSZ matrix reduces Ni coarsening. ⺠Impedance spectra of Ni-TiO2-YSZ anode shows overall drop in ohmic resistance after addition of 4% TiO2. ⺠Performance of SOFC with 4% TiO2-16% Ni-YSZ anode increased from 226 mW/cm2 at 7 h to 400 mW/cm2 at 94 h ⺠Synergistic effect of TiO2-Ni through SMSI may have prevented Ni coarsening.
