Abstract
⺠Molybdenum dithiolene photosensitisers for the fabrication of photoelectrodes were synthesized. ⺠Chlorine-induced interactions improved the charge transfer between the sensitiser and TiO2 photoelectrode. ⺠The sensitiser LUMO energy level was comparable to TiO2 conduction band edge. ⺠Molybdenum dithiolene-doped TiO2 photoelectrode showed a higher photoresponse compared to undoped TiO2 film.
